Stephen Fry In America

The humorist, writer, wit, actor, and novelist journeys around America’s states to discover what makes the country, and its people, so different. Passing through every state in his black London cab, Fry stops off to visit, among other places, the extravagant homes of the rich in upstate New York, lava fields in Hawaii, the battlefields at Gettysburg, and New Orleans’ Mardi Gras. Talking to, and welcomed by, the people he meets along the way, Fry tries to discover what it is that unites such a diversity of beliefs, cultures, and languages into one vast nation.
