The exploits of Miles, Anna, Egg, Milly and Warren became one of BBC2’s biggest hits when it was broadcast in 1996. Follow the burgeoning careers of these five newly qualified solicitors and the house they share in South London: Anna and Miles have some history and it’s obvious there is still some attraction. The only problem is that neither of them can admit it and seem intent on winding the other up as much as they can. Milly and Egg are deeply in love but their relationship is put under stress as Egg realises that he doesn’t want to be a solicitor and Milly begins an affair with her boss.
